South Italy- Day 1 at Naples

Hello Everyone,

I know that I've updated my blog very soon but I can't help it 'cause I'm here in Southern Italy and everyday we are going to visit amazing things and I don't wanna forget anything so I'll try and upload every single day (If I'm not too tired) and this way you'd get 7 blogs to enjoy, I hope so!

So we took a flight to arrive at Naples as it took only an hour from Venice by flight. When we landed, we had to reclain our baggage obviously but the people who were in charge of this were not doing anything (I don't know why). We had to wait for our baggage for more than 20 minutes. As they were not giving a damn about it, we had to take our baggage by ourselves. Can you look in the picture? People are taking their bags out from the backside. Finally they started the reclaimation so we didn't have to do it anymore. But it was just so wierd!

That's my host family of South Italy with Aaron, from California (the Exchange Student). They are really nice people, very kind, understanding and enthusiastic.

          

We saw a lot of things in Naples. Lots of famous churses. It was amazing but a bit strange to find historical thing in Naples 'cause everybody has a steriotype about Naples that it's famous for seas and a warm climate. Yes it is, but also for historical churches.

There was a shop named as Ospedale di Bombole (Hospital of the Dolls). A special shop made to repair the dolls!! Aww!! Lil' girls are going to fall in love with this if they haven't seen this before! :)

La Pizza da Michele (Pizza at Michele) is one of the most most famous Pizzeria of Naples. There was a huge que but we still waited for about 25 minutes just to have the pizza there. But believe me, it was WORTH waiting!! The Pizza was so good!

One of the best Pizzas ever tasted in my lifetime.

As Venice is famous for glass, Naples is famous for Ceramic. Even the paintings are made from Ceramic which looks beautiful definitely.

Though Naples is on the bottom of Italy but it's on the top of my heart now. The climate was so similar to my state back in India that I just fell in love with Naples within a few seconds. If someone would ask me which place would I like to visit the very first in the world would probably be Naples. Trust me, it's an amazing city. Now I got to know why people love to come here. North Italy is really really beautiful maybe more as there are lots of historical things and all but just that it remains freezing cold most of the times. The temperature is unpredictable also in Naples but it's always warm enough. I got so emotional today that I was about to cry. (Don't worry, Cry of Joy) just 'cause I felt as if I was in India. I've be missing this kind of climate so much.

Tomorrow we are going to visit the city of Avellino (where we are staying now) so we don't have to wake up early. Thank God, otherwise I could'nt have updated my Blog. Please forgive me for any kinds of errors. I'm quite tired. Hope you enjoyed reading this. I've taken many photos so far and I'll keep taking it but I can't upload every single one on my Blog so I'll upload it on facebook after going back to Cordovado with good descriptions (I know I didn't decribe the photos on my Blog very well this time. I hope you will pardon me) I'll try to write tomorrow if I remain alive to update. lol
