An exciting week! :)

Hello Everyone,
Welcome to my Italian world. I am doing good. It's becoming colder now a days here, but I'm loving it!

Kristine, Marit, Karl..These
are the Exchange Students from Norway for three months. They are through a Program of Inter-cultural School Exchange.

This is called Castange (Chestnuts). They are so amazing. We roast them and eat it after removing the skin. I'm so glad that I have them here 'cause unfortunately I could not find in my Indian city.

On the 21th we went to visit Ferrara city with our schoolmates. It's a historical city, very beautiful but we could not really catch it's history 'cause it was told in very fast Italian. But the group was fun so we had a nice time.

On the 22th we went to Venezia with school again. I must say Venezia is increadibly beautiful. I have visited Venezia four times but its worth visiting it again!

Happy halloween! :)
On the 30th of October, we celebrate Halloween. everyone dresses like monsters (if they want) and witches and all stuff. We went to a disco and it was fun. We returned home at around 5 in the morning.. :)

On the 5th of November, the exchange students of my district and I decided to Venezia togehter. It's always a pleasure spending time with them.

On the 8th we had a meeting
with our district govornor, Mr. Bruno. And that day I wore 'Chaniya Choli' which is a particular outfit of my state and we wear it when we have the festival of Navratri, a nine night festival in which we dance all night wearing this outfits.

I had made a presentaiton on India but due to lack of time I could not show it in front of everyone so I gave it to the Governor in a CD. I hope he likes it!

This in Italian is called 'Cous-Cous', which is Khus-Khus in my language. My sister Camilla made it for us. She loves it and now I love it too. It made me remind of the Indian food because of the curry that is added to this! :)

On the 12th, some of our schoolmates invited us for a basketball party. it was actually for the basketball players but many other people were there. That day a boy named Aaron, had his birthday so he gave us a treat. As it was his birthday, there has to be birthday bumps! He had to go dwon on his knees and one by one everyone beat him on his back. (not so hard ofcourse) and there was a deal- if he wanted to get his gift he had to get himself blindfolded and walk some metres. Yeah, he did! and his gift was a beautiful base guitar! :)

Having a hot chocolate with cream in so cold weather sounds amazing yeah?!

Ok, so I will conclude soon. On 17th, I am probably going to Austria for a day with Rotary. There is a kind of festival and we will have our dinner there. Austria sounds fun!

On the 19th and 20th, I'm going to Cremona a town near Milan. It's the festival of Torrone (cakes). And there are other exchange students coming from other districts too. I'm kind of excited and can't wait to meet them.

So, that is enough for today! I hope you liked it. See you later with more interesting news :) Till then be happy, be healthy and stay in touch! Thanks.

Ciao! :)
